Antoine Griezmann admits he is tired of answering questions about his future amid repeated stories linking him with a transfer to Manchester United.
The Atletico Madrid attacker has had another superb season in La Liga and the Champions League, leading to speculation that he could join an elite club in the summer.
Griezmann, however, has continued to show commitment to his current club, and admits he’s close to getting fed up of talking about a possible move away.
‘I don’t know what to say – it’s always the same questions,’ he said.
‘I’ve said it so many times, I’ve done a lot of front covers saying that I see myself here. I’ve already answered, I’m not going to do so again.
‘I’m not fed up with it – but I nearly am.’
Griezmann’s mentor Eric Olhats, who acts as an adviser to the France international, revealed today that United have been in touch about a transfer.
‘Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real have inquired,’ he told RMC.
‘I heard that Manchester United (had an agreement) but we do not even know if they will play the Champions League!’
Recent reports claimed a move for Griezmann to join the Red Devils was on the verge of completion, but quotes from the player himself and his representative suggest that is not yet the case.
