£29m Man Utd Star Has Made a Decision Over Possible Return to Homeland

Manchester United star Ander Herrera is set to reject Barcelona’s advances, according to the latest report from the Times (via the Mirror).

The Reds £29m signing from Athletic Bilbao has been repeatedly linked to a return to Spain, having recently starred at Old Trafford.

AS recently wrote that the Blaugrana wanted Herrera, who is at the top of new Coach Ernesto Valverde’s shopping list, reaching the Europa League final in 2012, eliminating Manchester United on their way there.

The two worked together back in their Bilbao days. Voted the fans’ player of the season a few weeks ago, Herrera recently played a starring role in a 2-0 win over Chelsea.

Having finally won the EL, Herrera wants to take his Manchester United experience to the next level. He has a year left on his deal.

The scorer of two goals and provider of seven assists in all competitions, the 27-year-old has formed a good partnership with Paul Pogba.
