JUAN MATA has refused to rule out a Manchester United exit.
The 28-year-old will have one year left to run on his contract come the summer.
After six seasons in England, the Premier League title has eluded the Spaniard.
Although he has won over Jose Mourinho, Mata is already contemplating life after Old Trafford.
And he is open to moving back to La Liga where he made his name at Valencia.
When asked what the future could hold for him, Mata told Spanish radio station Cadena SER: “I don’t know what will happen.
“I’ve been asked before, and I don’t know. I’ve been here six years, and I am happy in England.
“But I love Spain still and always follow La Liga from here.
“I would like to play again back at home.”
Mata moved at Old Trafford for reported fee of £37m, made 138 appearances for United in all competitions and has had a hand in 61 goals.
