JAMES RODRIGUEZ is determined to push through his Real Madrid exit before the club leave for their tour of America on Tuesday.
Rodriguez has been linked with leaving Real for several months following his difficult campaign last season.
The Colombian playmaker was frequently left on the bench by Zinedine Zidane and his days at the Bernabeu look all but over.
A host of clubs are said to be interested in the 25-year-old.
And Rodriguez wants one of his potential suitors to get a deal done as soon as possible.
Spanish outlet AS report that Real’s swoop for Real Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos has pushed Rodriguez even closer to the exit door.
The ex-Monaco star now wants to call time on his Los Blancos career before Tuesday meaning he won’t have to travel to the USA for the club’s pre-season tour.
That will likely put several teams in Europe on red alert over a deal for Rodriguez.
Another Spanish publication, Sport, has reported this weekend that Rodriguez’s agent has been in contact with multiple clubs in recent weeks.
It is said Jorge Mendes has held discussions with Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Juventus and Paris St-Germain.
Chelsea are another side who have been consistently linked with Rodriguez in recent weeks.
While Real are looking to offload their star this summer, they will still demand top dollar for him.
It is understood Zidane’s side are looking to pocket upwards of £66m from Rodriguez’s departure.
