£77m Man Utd Target Wants Premier League Return… But PSG Table Enticing Offer

MANCHESTER UNITED still want to sign Gareth Bale… but Paris St-Germain are ready to pounce.

Bale has impressed in La Liga but struggled for regular match action towards the end of last season.

Zinedine Zidane has preferred to utilise Isco in an attacking role with Bale increasingly left on the bench.

Spanish media outlet Don Balon say United are keen to secure his services.

And it’s suggested Jose Mourinho is monitoring Bale’s situation very closely.

But PSG could now have edged ahead in the race for his signature.

Don Balon say Real want to snap up PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.

Barcelona are also desperate to sign the Italian and PSG are reluctant to part with their prized asset.

However, Don Balon believe PSG’s determination to sign Bale could see them offer Verratti in part exchange.

United still appear to have the upper hand, though.

Bale reportedly isn’t interested in a move to Ligue 1.

He does, however, fancy a return to the Premier League.

Since move to Real from Tottenham in 2013 for reported fee of £77m, he’s made 100 appearances and scored 54 goals.
