Manchester United and Southampton are reportedly eyeing up a transfer move for highly-rated Le Havre attacking midfielder Yasser Larouci.
The Red Devils are on alert for the France youth international’s signature after he recently turned down a new contract with the Ligue 2 club, meaning he is free to negotiate with other clubs.
United are known for their policy of recruiting the best young talent from around the world, and have noticed Larouci’s potential with Le Havre’s Under-16s.
According to Goal, the teenage attacker has spent time on trial at Southampton, where he attracted the interest of United’s scouts in December.
Larouci is a player blessed with pace and technique, and looks well equipped to adapt to the demands of the Premier League with his high work rate and pressing ability.
