BESIKTAS official Metin Albayrak does not think Anderson Talisca has agreed to join Manchester United.
Reports came out of Turkey yesterday suggesting the on-loan ace had struck a deal with the Red Devils.
The Benfica forward is in the middle on a two-year loan in Turkey – and Besiktas say they would have to be informed if that was due to change.
They haven’t heard anything and insist he will be their player next term. The 23-year-old does have a £22 million [€25m] release clause which has remained active.
Talisca is a big admirer of United boss Jose Mourinho and has made it clear he would love to play for United.
But as far as Besiktas are aware there is no kind of deal in place.
Albayrak told Turkish-Football: “Well every player dreams of playing in the Premier League or La Liga but Talisca has another year with us.
“We have to be informed of any transfers, it cannot go ahead without us at the table, we have not been informed of a Man United deal.”
Earlier this month Talisca admitted it is a dream of his to play for United.
And he wants to follow former team-mate Victor Lindelof to Old Trafford.
Talisca explained: “That is a question I can not give an answer to just yet.
“I cannot deny there is interest but what happens next depends on Benfica and my representatives.
“There will be news on this soon.
“Look, every player dreams of playing under him [Jose Mourinho].
“Mourinho wants me, he has wanted me for a long time and I am an admirer of his work.
“I had a good season so we will see what happens.”
