Paul Pogba has hailed Antoine Griezmann’s goal-scoring ability as the Atletico Madrid forward’s standout trait.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Manchester United and has even revealed that he asks Pogba about life at Old Trafford.
United have missed more big chances than any other Premier League team this season, according to Opta’s statistics, while Jose Mourinho is reportedly in the market for a new striker in the summer transfer window.
And when asked by FIFA.com to name Griezmann’s main quality, Pogba replied: ‘I think it’s his finishing.
‘He wasn’t a striker before but now he scores so many goals.
‘He’s very clever and he plays with his body. He’s not that big, he’s small, he’s fast and agile and he scores goals.
‘That makes him Griezmann, the very good player that he is.’
It’s believed that Atletico star has €100m release-clause in his current contract. He made 23 appearances this season and has had a hand in 17 goals for Deigo Seimeone’s man in all competitions so far.
