Manchester United are allegedly planning to make the transfer deal happen for the 24-year-old defender Raphael Varane if other two deals happen at the end of this season.
Don Balon states, Jose Mourinho is intent to work with the French international again, and he’s considered as a replacement to Marcos Rojo as the Argentinian is linked with PSG, while Los Blancos also look to make Varane’s replacement at the back by buying AC Milan centre-back Leonardo Bonucci.
Undoubtedly, this deal looks complicated considering the other deals it depends on, but United have been associated with an interest in Varane numerous times in the past.
The Red Devils could surely do with increasing their defensive strength after some poor playing quality produced by Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.
If the potential deal succeeds, it would be a decent move by the Old Trafford side, and Varane doesn’t seem like a player who would need extra time to adapt to the difficulties of the Premier League.
The Red Devils have been far behind Manchester City in this season’s Premier League title race, so Jose Mourinho squad will need to pay reasonably this summer to get back on track next year.
