MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly hellbent on signing Torino forward Andrea Belotti this summer.
Belotti has been in stunning form in Serie A, scoring 23 goals to help the Italian club up to tenth in the table.
His growing stock means he is almost destined to leave for pastures new at the end of the season.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid have all been backed to make a move for him.
And Spanish newspaper La Stampa claim Belotti could soon be one of super agent Jorge Mendes’ clients.
Mendes is currently agent of both Jose Mourinho and United goalkeeper David De Gea.
And it is claimed the United boss has told Mendes to take on Belotti so he can broker a move to Old Trafford.
United are on the lookout for a new striker amid fears over Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s long-term future.
The forward has bagged 27 goals across all competitions but is stalling over a new deal due to uncertainty over the club’s place in the Champions League next season.
