MANCHESTER UNITED are in pole position to sign James Rodriguez this season, according to Guillem Balague.
Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert thinks the Red Devils are some way ahead of their competitors for the playmaker.
Rodriguez looks certain to leave the Spanish capital this summer after struggling to break into Zinedine Zidane’s first team.
He’s made some important contributions from the bench but clearly ins’t trusted to be a regular fixture.
Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus and Paris St-Germain join United in showing an interest in the Colombian, but Balague thinks Jose Mourinho’s men are leading the charge.
