Manchester United ‘s Marcus Rashford has reportedly emerged as a shock loan target for Sevilla
It would be one of the more surprising moves of the window, but the Sun reports that Sevilla are “desperate” to take promising attacker on loan from Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old exploded on to the scene last term in a stunning breakout season for the Red Devils. But the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has seen the England striker’s first-team opportunities more limited this time around.
The Red Devils youngster has scored six goals in 26 appearances across all competitions this term. Though the Swedish star’s form means there are only so many starts as a centre-forward available under Jose Mourinho this season.
Rashford has shown another side to his game recently by proving effective from the left wing, and Sevilla would be prepared to make him the focal point of their attack.
West Ham are also said to be eyeing a short-term deal for the England international in this month’s transfer window.
