Man United £65,000-a-week world-class attacker linked with Bayern Munich move

Bayern Munich have become the latest club to be linked with a summer bid for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman’s future at Old Trafford has been the subject of intense speculation of late and, according to Calciomercato, the German champions are one of several teams vying for his signature.

Martial is said to be frustrated at falling down the United pecking order this season and a number of other clubs, including Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan, have been tipped to offer him an exit route from Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old will enter the final year of his contract next season, which could prompt United to sell up to avoid losing him for a knocked-down price.

Martial has made just 16 starts for Jose Mourinho’s side this season.

Meanwhile, even Romelu Lukaku is making a joke about Anthony Martial being unhappy at Manchester United.

Earlier this week, reports in France claimed the 22-year-old is at odds with Jose Mourinho due to his lack of playing time this season.

Alexis Sanchez’s arrival has meant increased competition in Martial’s favoured position and the France international has been an unused substitute in United’s last two fixtures.

Reports have claimed that Martial is unhappy at Old Trafford and will look to leave at the end of the season with Juventus and Tottenham interested in a deal.

Martial’s discontent appears to have been picked up by the rest of his United teammates, judging by United’s latest promotional video.
