Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar is reportedly on the radar of Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City.
The Slovakia international has caught the eye for the Nerazzurri this term, featuring in each of his side’s 38 Serie A matches and conceding just 30 times.
Skriniar has now emerged as a rumoured target for United and City, who are both in the market for a reliable centre-back ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
Corriere dello Sport suggests that Inter are not interested in cashing in on the 23-year-old, however, regardless of the fact that they need to raise £35m amid a looming financial fair play investigation.
Skriniar joined Inter from Sampdoria last year in a deal thought to be worth around £25m.
Meanwhile, Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes has reportedly cleared out his locker at the club’s training ground as he prepares for a move away from Camp Nou this summer.
Gomes struggled to force his way into Ernesto Valverde’s double-winning team throughout the 2017-18 campaign, making only 10 starts across all competitions including just six in La Liga.
Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo now reports that Gomes has given up hope of regular first-team football at the Spanish champions and is eager to leave the club during the summer transfer window.
The Portugal international – who was left out of the squad for this summer’s World Cup – is thought to be interested in a move to the Premier League.
The likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have previously been linked with Gomes, and both are in the market for a central midfielder this summer.
