Manchester United have reportedly told Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur that Anthony Martial will not leave Old Trafford for less than £75m.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Red Devils from Monaco in 2015, has seen his playing time limited under Jose Mourinho, particularly following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January.

Philippe Lamboley, Martial’s agent, has claimed that his client wants to leave United, citing a lack of progress in talks to renew his current contract, which expires next summer.

According to The Mirror, United have set their asking price for Martial, who cost the club an initial £36m potentially rising to £58m.

The report states that the £75m fee would be beyond Tottenham’s spending power, while Chelsea would have to break their transfer record should they agree to United’s terms.

Martial has made 136 appearances for United over the past three seasons, scoring 36 goals.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils will reportedly sit down with forward Marcus Rashford after the World Cup to discuss his future at the club.

The 20-year-old, who has two years left on his current United deal, suffered an inconsistent run in the team last season, starting 17 Premier League games but appearing 18 times from the bench.

According to The Sun, however, the England international is keen on extending his stay at Old Trafford, and talks could see his wage rise by £50,000 to around £130,000 per week.
