Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti this summer.
United boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be looking for further additions to his midfield this summer, having already agreed a deal to sign Brazil international Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Verratti was one of the names on Mourinho’s list of targets, and Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that the 25-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola has told United that he could be available.
The Italy international is reportedly keen to leave PSG this summer following a meeting with new manager Thomas Tuchel, who is alleged to have told the combative midfielder to lose weight.
Verratti was heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes last summer too, but ended up staying in the French capital and helping PSG to a domestic treble.
Meanwhile, Man United reportedly have no plans to sign Juventus £60m-rated full-back Alex Sandro this summer.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the Brazilian defender for some time now after Jose Mourinho deployed Ashley Young as a makeshift left-back for the majority of the 2017-18 campaign.
However, the Manchester Evening News reports that United have now ended their interest in the player as he considers signing a new contract at Juventus.
Mourinho is still thought to be in the market for a new left-back, but the position is no longer his priority due to the performances of Young and presence of Luke Shaw as a back-up option.
