Manchester United are reportedly willing to offer Jesse Lingard a pay rise to reward him for his good form this season.
The Red Devils are prepared to bump the England international’s wages up from £85,000 per week to £100,000 per week, according to The Sun.
Lingard has racked up 13 goals and six assists for United this season and the Old Trafford hierarchy is said to be keen to acknowledge his contributions with an improved contract.
The midfielder entered a four-year deal with Jose Mourinho’s side 12 months ago. United are currently in second place in the Premier League table, in good stead to claim the runners-up spot.
Meanwhile, PSG midfielder Javier Pastore has been linked with a summer move to the Premier League.
Liverpool and Manchester United are considering whether to bid for the Argentina international, according to Yahoo! Sport.
Pastore has been tipped to leave PSG at the end of the season in search of regular first-team football, having started just 17 times for the French champions this term.
Competition in the PSG midfield is rife, with Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler, Edinson Cavani, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe all vying for game time.
Pastore has one year remaining on his contract with the club.
