Man United lining up £35.3m bid for World Cup 2018 attacking sensation

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £35.3m bid for PSV Eindhoven attacker Hirving Lozano.

The 22-year-old scored 19 times and registered 11 assists in 34 appearances for PSV last term before turning out for Mexico at the 2018 World Cup.

The attacker netted once in four appearances for his country in Russia, and a number of clubs – including Arsenal – have been credited with an interest since this summer’s transfer window opened.

Lozano has a contract with PSV until the summer of 2023, but according to Tuttomercatoweb, United are readying an offer in the region of £35m as the 20-time English champions look to seal his signature.

Jose Mourinho has already brought three new players to Old Trafford this summer, with Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant all joining the Red Devils ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have agreed a deal with Juventus defender Alex Sandro.

Sandro has been on the radar of the Premier League giants since January and they look to now be closing in on completing a transfer.

Rivals Chelsea were keen on the Brazilian left-back last summer but Antonio Conte couldn’t get a deal done. And it now appears he could pitch up at Old Trafford in time for the start of next season in August.

Journalist Duncan Castles revealed the news on the latest episode of The Transfer Window podcast. He says personal terms have been sorted with the player, however a transfer fee is yet to be agreed with the Serie A champions.
