Manchester United have allegedly named their asking price for wantaway forward Anthony Martial.

The Red Devils will only sell the Frenchman if a bid of at least €50m (£43m) comes in, according to Calciomercato.

Martial is said to have grown frustrated at the lack of first-team opportunities at Old Trafford, with top European clubs including Juventus and Bayern Munich tipped to provide him with potential exit routes.

The 22-year-old will enter the final year of his contract next season, which could prompt United to sell up to avoid losing him for a knock-down price or on a free transfer when his deal expires.

Martial has made just 16 starts for Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils this season.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are reportedly redoubling their efforts to keep defender Samuel Umtiti in Spain amid reports linking him with Manchester United.

The club recently opened talks with the player’s agent about renewing his contract, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Umtiti is under contract with the Catalan outfit until 2021 but his current deal is said to include a €60m (£52m) release clause that interested parties could trigger.

Reports linking the 24-year-old with the Barca exit emerged following rumours that the club’s hierarchy was displeased with his performance last week’s 3-0 defeat at Roma, which knocked them out of the Champions League.

Umtiti joined Barca from French outfit Lyon in 2016.
