Man Utd and Man City both keen on signing £13m full-back

Earlier on Thursday, the Le10 Sport reported that West Ham’s and Everton’s alleged interest in Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna.

If this turns into something serious, and considering the soon-to-be 34-year-old is likely to be out of a contract in the summer, it might, Pep Guardiola will be in need of a new right-back.

As well as scouting his next Champions League opponents, Le10 think Pep Guardiola was also watching a few players for the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who arrived from Lille for just under £13m last summer, has become a vital part of Leonardo Jardim’s plans this season.

However, Manchester City might face a bit of competition from Manchester United, with José Mourinho also a big admirer of Sidibé, keeping an eye on him since his time at Lille.

The player’s versatility, having played mostly at left-back at his former club, will certainly be a bonus for both managers, and with the Special One seemingly liking his left-back being right-footed (Azpilicueta at Chelsea and using Matteo Darmian there this season), Sidibé fits the bill perfectly.
