BAYERN MUNICH are reportedly considering a German record £65million bid for Romelu Lukaku.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Everton with former clubChelsea and Manchester United being credited with an interest.
But the Sun claim Bayern Munich have now entered the race to sign Lukaku after sending head of recruitment Michael Reschke to run the rule over the Belgium international during the 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last week.
And it appears as if Reschke was impressed with Lukaku, who scored the opener for the Toffees, so much so that boss Carlo Ancelotti will now spend the rest of the season watching the Belgian to ensure it is worth splashing £65m on him.
Lukaku is desperate to play Champions League football, but opted to stay at Everton for another season following the arrival of Ronald Koeman.
Reportedly Blues boss Antonio Conte was keen on bringing Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge in the summer after failing to sign Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata.
And could swoop for him again nest summer if they qualify for the Champions League next season.
While United boss Jose Mourinho is also keeping a close eye on Lukaku after sending scouts to watch him during the Toffees’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Lukaku has scored nine goals for the club and country already this season and continues to put himself in the shop window.
