Manchester United are reportedly preparing to target Bayern Munich ace Robert Lewandowski, should Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave Old Trafford this summer.
Ibrahimovic is out of contract at the end of the season and yet to sign an extension for a second year.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon claims that Lewandowski is top of Jose Mourinho’s list of potential replacements.
The 28-year-old Poland international has scored 44 times for club and country this season and is seen as an ideal candidate to help replace Ibrahimovic, who has netted 28 times for United in all competitions.
Elsewhere, and United are ready to bid £51m to secure Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic – according to Gazetta dello Sport.
The Croatian international has also been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea and Mourinho would need to spend big to persuade the Serie A side to part with him.
Mourinho has reportedly made Perisic a ‘priority signing’ as he looks to strengthen his creative options this summer.
