Manchester United icon Patrice Evra is attracting interest from Lyon, according to reports from France.
Juventus full-back Evra is being heavily linked with a move away from Turin before the January transfer window closes after struggling for minutes this season under Massimiliano Allegri.
L’Equipe suggest the 35-year-old Frenchman could be about to follow Memphis Depay to Lyon, with their manager Bruno Genesio on the hunt for defensive reinforcements.
It’s understood Crystal Palace were also keen on landing Evra to but the Red Devils legend was not interested in moving to Selhurst Park.
However, a call from Lyon could tempt the left-back into making a return to his homeland to play in Ligue 1.
The French outfit announced the signing of Depay from United earlier this week for a fee of around £15million.
Depay had only made four Premier League appearances under Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese boss took over the reins at Old Trafford in the summer.
