Manchester United are one of several European giants that have scouts watching impressive Porto midfielder Otavio, according to transfermarketweb.
The 21-year-old Brazilian is considered one of the most talented young attacking midfielders playing in European football today and is touted to become a real star in the future.
Porto have a real knack of buying young talents, developing them into stars and selling them on for a major profit and that cycle could repeat itself in the case of Otavio.
The Liga NOS outfit signed the youngster as a 19-year-old from Brazilian side Internacional for a mere £2.1m back in the summer of 2014 before sending him on an 18-month loan to Vitoria Guimaraes the following January.
He impressed whilst out on loan, scoring seven goals and assisting on nine occasions in 38 appearances before rejoining Porto at the start of the 2016/17 campaign where he’s now nailed down a first-team spot of his own and is playing at the top of his game, scoring twice and creating six more goals in 16 appearances this season.
His form has caught the eye of the Red Devils, as well as Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Juventus who are all scouting the Brazilian ahead of a future transfer but he won’t come on the cheap.
Otavio signed a new contract last week with Porto running until the summer of 2021, and it contains a staggering release clause of €60m (£53.5m).
