GARETH BALE set to sign a new bumper Real Madrid contract, according to Cadena Ser.
The Welsh superstar will see his current Real deal expire in 2019 and the Spanish giants are eager to tie him down to a longer contract.
Real confirmed Toni Kroos’ new deal yesterday while the La Liga club also hope Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric will sign extended terms soon.
Spanish website Cadena Ser claim that Bale is ready to follow team-mate Kroos by penning his new contract.
The reports say the 27-year-old will commit his future to the club until 2022 and his buyout clause will rocket up to a staggering £450m.
Manchester United have been frequently linked with Bale over recent years and Real hope this new deal will end any speculation over the future of their superstar.
Bale moved from Tottenham to the Bernabeu in 2013 for a then world-record transfer fee of £85m.
The forward has enjoyed a successful time in Spain since, winning two Champions League trophies with the club.
