Man Utd to confirm player’s future next week: Bitter PL rivals want £27m star
Luke Shaw looks to be heading out of Old Trafford this summer.
The England left-back has been criticised by Jose Mourinho this season and his time at the club could be up.
According to The Mirror he’ll find out where he stands next week with Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City are all keen on the defender.
The report claims Shaw will be told before the end of the month what is in store for him this summer.
If the 21-year-old is to go, United will push for close to the £27m they paid Southampton for his services in 2014.
Selling to direct rivals City and Liverpool would seem unlikely.
Mourinho won’t want to strengthen a title rival – and particularly a club who the fans don’t like.
Flogging him to Tottenham wouldn’t appeal much either, but Shaw may be keen to work with Mauricio Pochettino.
Shaw blossomed at St Mary’s under the Argentine coach and could reboot his career in north London.
