Mourinho Delivers Massive Man Utd Boost Ahead of Watford Clash

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Wayne Rooney has returned to the squad to face Watford, but Phil Jones misses out once again.

Rooney was forced to miss the win over Leicester City last week, after suffering from illness heading into the game.

However, the United skipper is now back in contention, but it is expected the forward will have to settle for a place on the bench.

Nine of Rooney’s 17 league games this season have come off the substitutes bench, with that seemingly going to be the case once again on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Jones misses out once again for Man Utd, as his foot injury sustained recently against Hull City continues to trouble him.

The England international, who has rediscovered his best form this season, was also forced to miss the trip to the King Power Stadium last week.
