Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is on his way back to Italy, according to reports.
The Sun is reporting that the Italian full-back is close to agreeing a move to Inter Milan and his fiancee has supposedly been flat hunting in the city ahead of a possible return.
£60,000-a-week Darmian was moved to right-back at Hull on Thursday night, having spent the last two and a half months at left-back.
A source told the paper: “Matteo is looking for a place in Milan. He has contacted an estate agent in the city. He is looking for a spacious apartment in a very nice area. His girlfriend will pick the house.
“It cannot be coincidence that he is looking for a new house. Inter Milan have been after him for a while.
“He is from a small town near Milan. The couple are passionate about interior design and have fixed-up places in the past.”
Meanwhile, Spanish outlet Don Balon reports Jose Mourinho could return to Real Madrid.
They claim Mourinho’s close relationship with Real president Florentino Perez could see him head back to Spain.
There has been speculation about Zinedine Zidane’s future at Real as the team go through a slight dip in form and the Spanish paper suggests Mourinho could make a shock return to the Bernabeu if things get any worse.
It is an unlikely move given Mourinho’s desire for a long-term stay in Manchester.
The Antoine Griezmann saga continues continue with the Daily Record reporting that his friendship with fellow countryman Paul Pogba is central to securing the forward.
Sources told the paper that the club made initial efforts to bring Griezmann to Old Trafford last year but decided not to proceed during the summer.
Now they are using Pogba in an attempt to sell the club to him as the two have a strong friendship.
