Jose Mourinho hopes to entice Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma to Manchester United during the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Zouma has endured a frustrating season at Stamford Bridge, only featuring in seven Premier League games, with David Luiz and Gary Cahill flourishing in defence.
But despite a lack of regular football at the league leaders, Zouma is attracting interest from his former manager Jose Mourinho.
United are expected to sign a defender at the end of the season and The Sun say Mourinho wants Zouma at Old Trafford.
It is claimed the Frenchman is a player Mourinho trusts from his second spell at the Blues, although United may be set for disappointment.
Conte sees Zouma as an important squad player and will be reluctant to sanction his exit with John Terry set to leave at the end of the season.
Zouma, who has returned from a serious knee injury, has made 69 appearances for Chelsea since signing from Saint-Etienne in 2014.
The Red Devils have also been linked with a move for Willian in recent weeks – Mourinho is said to be confident of striking a deal with his former club due to the Brazilian’s lack of game-time under Conte.
