MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho could offer Tottenham Luke Shaw in a bid to land Kyle Walker.
That’s according to The Express who claim the Portuguese is planning the audacious swap deal.
Shaw has struggled under Mourinho’s stewardship and has faced fierce public criticism from the United chief.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has worked with Shaw at Southampton, was keen to sign the England international last summer.
However, the Red Devils snubbed a loan offer for the talented left-back.
Walker is being tracked by Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea.
The north Londoners could be willing to cash in on their influential star, but he won’t be allowed to leave on the cheap.
It’s suggested Spurs supremo Daniel Levy will demand at least £40m for Walker.
Although if Shaw is included in any deal, that figure could drop to around £30m.
Shaw has played just 11 Premier League games this season.
