Personal terms agreed – Man Utd set to seal second major transfer of the summer
Manchester United Football Club have agreed personal terms with Alvaro Morata, but are still in negotiations with Real Madrid to try and come to some arrangement regarding a transfer fee. That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who is a part of Gianluca Di Marzio’s backroom staff.
Morata, 24, has been locked in the middle of a transfer battle between Madrid and United, and the fact that he has agreed on terms suggests to me that he is ready to leave the Santiago Bernabeu for pastures new.
Man Utd are still in talks with Real Madrid for Morata. And trying to convince F. Perez to sell him. Agreement reached with Álvaro. 🇪🇸 #MUFC

It comes as no secret that Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn’t been offered a new deal at Old Trafford, and obviously, his 28-goal haul from the 2016/17 campaign needs replacing.
That has led to Jose Mourinho making a move for Morata, a player who he worked with during their time together in the Spanish capital.
Personally, I’m a huge admirer of the forward’s, and I genuinely believe he’d be perfect for this club. In terms of attributes, he looks tailor-made to the combativeness that is Premier League football, and I can see exactly what Mourinho wants to bring him in.
However, getting a deal done when there is such huge sums of money involved is never easy, hence why it could take quite some time before any final agreement is reached. With that said, I’m pretty confident this move will happen eventually.
