Paul Pogba shared an Instagram video of himself celebrating Manchester United‘s 3-0 defeat of Sunderland with transfer target Romelu Lukaku on Sunday evening.
Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford saw the Red Devils come away from the Stadium of Light with three points and Pogba was clearly in good spirits after the victory.
Lukaku’s Everton went on to beat Leicester 4-2 in the later kick-off at Goodison Park and the pair spent the evening together after their respective wins in the Premier League.
It’s well-known that Pogba and Lukaku are close friends – they spent last summer together in together in Miami – and many United fans believe their midfielder can help coax his good pal to Old Trafford.
However, Chelsea remain the favourites to land the Toffees striker in the summer transfer window so Jose Mourinho has a fight on his hands at the end of the season.
Lukaku recently turned down the offer of a bumper new deal at Everton and the forward is widely expected to move on ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Should Antonio Conte be worried about one of their priority targets regularly hanging out with Pogba?
