Gareth Bale has no ambitions to leave Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.
The Real Madrid superstar has been linked with a return to the Premier League after he was benched for the Champions League final in May.
Bale was nursing an injury before the game, but that has not stopped speculation Manchester United are lining up a mega-transfer.
However, Sky Sports claim that Bale has no desire to leave Real and has no interest in joining Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
United were mooted to be readying a bid should Real sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with Real with suggestions the striker’s first choice destination is the Bernabeu.
Monaco are desperate to hold onto Mbappe and have offered him a 900 per cent wage increase to reject interest from Real, Arsenal and French rivals Paris Saint-Germain.
But regardless of what happens with Real’s pursuit of Mbappe, Bale will not be sold and the player has no intention to force a transfer.
Bale is happy in Spain and is targeting a return to full fitness next season and seeing his last campaign consistently interrupted by injuries.
The Welshman joined Real in 2014 in a then world-record deal from Tottenham and has scored an impressive 67 goals and provided 51 assists in 150 appearances for Los Blancos.
Mourinho has attempted to land several La Liga stars this summer with Antoine Griezmann rejecting the chance to join the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid.
United are also locked in negotiations with Real over Bale’s team-mate Alvaro Morata.
Real are playing hardball and have slapped a £79million asking price on Morata’s head.
The striker is reportedly keen on a switch to United, but so far there has been little movement on talks since Real hiked up the asking price.
