German giants set to hijack Man Utd move for former Liverpool midfielder

German giants, Broussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to enter the transfer battle with Man Utd to sign Juventus out-of-favour midfielder Emre Can.

Despite being in just his second season in Turin, German midfielder has been made available for transfer ahead of the upcoming transfer window in January.

The Red Devils have been strongly linked with an approach for the former Liverpool man as they look to strengthen their options in the middle of the park.

However, according to Bild, German giants are also keeping tabs on the situation ahead of potentially making a bid at the beginning of the 2020 year.

Dortmund have endured a mixed start to the new season, with Friday’s 3-3 draw against Paderborn leaving the team five points adrift of leaders Borussia Monchengladbach in the Germany top-tier.

Lucien Favre may look to seal a loan contract for the ex-Liverpool man, with the option to buy at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Juventus another star Mario Mandzukic has been tipped to depart from the Allianz Stadium at the end of the 2019 year and Man Utd are believed to be his favoured destination as the Red Devils tracked down the former Croatia international forward since the last summer transfer window.
