Real Madrid and Manchester United could reportedly go head to head to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 25-year old centre-back previously rumoured with Barcelona and Man City – has again been a vital player for Inter during the 2019-20 season, playing 32 games in all competitions.
Skriniar has a deal at San Siro until June 2023, however, there has been rumours surrounding his future over the last few months.
According to The Mirror, the 20-times English champions are ready to ‘step up their bid’ to secure the services of the Slovakia international ahead of the 2020-21 campaign with the club allegedly in the market for a new defender.
However, the report suggests that Real Madrid are also firmly in the hunt for his services as they look to secure a long-term replacement for club skipper Sergio Ramos.
Antonio Conte’s side are believed to value Slovakia international defender, who has played 118 games for Inter Milan since arriving from Sampdoria back in 2017, in the region of £52.5 million.
Man Utd also eyeing a summer move for another Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez, however, his price tag could be a problem while Barcelona also eyeing a summer move for his signature.
