Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland has spoken of how reports linking him with a switch to Man Utd ‘boring”
The Norwegian starlet erupted onto the scene by founding back of the net four times during Salzburg’s 6-2 victory over Genk in their opening game in the Champions League tournament.
Such achievements prompted a series of reports linking the Norwegian forward with a move to the Red Devils – something which mushroomed after the wonderkid scored during a 4-3 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
Speaking soon after the game, the 20-year-old forward told VG: “The media attention is huge. It’s good pressure.
“The club is good at shielding me a little, but I hope it will be more shielding in the future. It will be difficult, but we will try. I want to be shielded.
“It’s boring. I’m bored now. On a scale of 1 to 10 [of how bored]? 9.9.”
Reports have also suggested that Serie A champions, Juventus will enter the race to secure services of Haaland during the next summer transfer window.
By founding back of the net at Anfield, Haaland followed in the footsteps of his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, who was involved in a famous clash with former Man Utd midfielder Roy Keane who has broken his leg.
