Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly joined a host of teams who are keeping tabs on the progress of 17-year-old Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga.
The French starlet, who made his debut for the Ligue 1 outfits Rennes at the age of 16, has impressed with his fine form this campaign and featured in every Ligue 1 appearences of the 2019-20 season so far.
A number of top teams, including Man City, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur were credited with showing strong interest in Camavinga over the summer.
According to L’Equipe, the Red Devils, along with La Liga appearences Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, are keeping a close eye on the midfielder ahead of the upcoming transfer window in January.
It is believed that the Ligue 1 club will ask potential suitors for a bid of around £26m given the starlet’s importance to the first team since August.
The Red Devils are in need of midfield reinforcements following uncertainty surrounding their superstar Paul Pogba’s future along with the recent exit of Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini.
Eduardo Camavinga who is believed to be one of the best prospects in the Ligue 1 at the moment could be a perfect fit for Manchester United that are struggling this season and need reinforcements when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.
