Man United 24-year-old French target responds Old Trafford transfer links

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has refused to rule out a move to Manchester United despite holding talks with Juventus.

The Frenchman is set to leave the Ligue 1 giants this summer when his contract expires in July after refusing to sign a new deal in Paris. Rabiot hasn’t played for the club since December and has attracted interest from across Europe since making his intention to leave the club public.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to strengthen his midfield following the departure of Ander Herrera, who is ironically set to join PSG on a free transfer. And Rabiot, who has admitted he’s held talks with Juventus, has addressed the speculation that he could move to Old Trafford.

‘I’ve spoken with Juventus, it’s a great club where everyone would like to play,’ Rabiot told Corriere dello Sport.

‘I like Italy so much, it’s wonderful here. A demanding season awaits me. At Juventus? Juve watched me and we talked about it, but I can’t say anything.

‘Manchester United? It’s the same as last year, I have to decide. I’m on vacation for now. Soon you will know.’

United have made one signing so far this summer with Daniel James arriving from Swansea City in a £18m deal. Solskjaer wants to strengthen the spine of his starting XI and could make as many as four additional signings this summer.
