David Alaba is reportedly keen to depart from Bayern Munich during the summer’s transfer window as he wants the German champions to receive a fee for his signature.
The 28-year-old’s current contract at the Allianz Arena is following to expire next June, meaning that, as it stands, he would be a free to negotiate with foreign team in January 2021 over a free transfer.
According to Bild, though, David Alaba is reluctant to depart for nothing next summer and therefore wants Bayern to negotiate a transfer fee with interested teams in the coming days.
Manchester United and Liverpool have been rumoured with the Austria international, who is primarily a left-back, however, has largely operated as a centre-back during the current campaign.
Alaba has spent his entire professional career with Bundesliga champions, making close to 400 games in all competitions and winning nine Bundesliga trophies.
Last season, the defender has managed to fond back of the net twice added two assists in 42 games in all competitions as Hansi Flick’s team won the treble.
