Manchester United are reportedly planning to make switch their attention to Aston Villa’s playmaker Jack Grealish after suffering a blow in their bid to lure Jadon Sancho away from Signal Iduna Park.
The 20-times English champions continue to be rumoured with a summer move for Jadon Sancho, however, BVB chief Sebastian Kehl recently claimed that the German side were confident of keeping Sancho at the club for one more year.
According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils are now planning to switch their focus to Grealish, who has been valued at £75m during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Grealish, like Sancho, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months, having impressed for Aston Villa ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The 24-year-old has found back of the net nine times and provided eight assists in 31 games at club level this season, however, Dean Smith’s side are still 19th in the English top-tier and facing the threat of relegation.
The Englishman’s current contract at Villa Park is set to run until June 2023 and if they fail to remain in the Premier League it seems like that 24-year-old midfielder could be on his way out from the club.
