La Liga giants, Barceloan head-coach, Ernesto Valverde, has hinted that Arturo Vidal could depart from Nou Camp in January with Manchester United believed to be interested in luring the Chilean midfielder at Old Trafford.
Vidal has managed to found back of the net four times in 14 La Liga games for Barcelona this campaign, however, is reportedly frustrated with a lack of first-team minutes and could seek a move from the Nou Camp when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.
Speaking ahead of Spanish giants clash with Real Mallorca in La Liga this weekend, Valverde said: “Vidal is our player. We are happy with him. There are so many rumours. We will see tomorrow if he plays or not.
“And when the January transfer window arrives, we will see what happens. There’s a lot of things going on in January but it’s true that we have a lot of midfielders.”
According to The Mirror, the Red Devils are a potential destination for Copa America winning midfielder and they have been rumoured with a £13m move for his services in the January transfer window.
The report claims that 20-times English champions have spoken with Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich about a possible transfer and both parties seem to have a verbal agreement.
