Man Utd offered chance to sign 23-year-old Real Madrid full-back

Manchester United have been reportedly being offered the chance to secure services of Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon ahead of the next season.

The 23-year-old was named in the Spanish top-tier team of the year last campaign after a successful loan spell with Sevilla, where he also managed to claim the Europa League trophy,

Reguilon finds himself behind Marcelo and Ferland Mendy in the Los Blancos pecking order, however, and journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that he could be on his way departing from the club.

Romano states that Real Madrid have enquired about the Red Devils true interest in the full-back, with Sevilla closely keeping tabs on developments.

Madrid academy product Reguilon earned his first senior cap for Spain in Sunday’s 4-0 UEFA Nations League 4-o victory over Ukraine.

Meanwhile Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring in RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano once Manchester United finalise a deal for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek, according to the latest reports.

The club have now agreed a £40.3 million deal with the Dutch side for the 23-year-old and a move could be finalised this week.

The Red Devils also remain intent on landing Jadon Sancho, however they have still been unable to agree a transfer sum with Borussia Dortmund.

Ole is also looking to bolster his defensive variants ahead of the new season and according to ESPN, the United boss is pushing to sign Upamecano from RB Leipzig.
