Jadon Sancho says ‘you never know what could happen’ as he continues to be rumoured with a switch to Liverpool and Manchester United.
England international forward has thrived for Borussia Dortmund since departing from Man City back in 2017, founding back of the net 34 times in 99 appearances and establishing himself as one of the best talents in Europe.
The 20-year-old’s fine form this season have attracted attention from a number of teams, with Liverpool and Man Utd are both keen on to sign him.
Manchester United are looking to strengthen their squad at Old Trafford that has already begun to impress since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes.
Champions Liverpool, meanwhile, are open to bolstering their squad while Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah both have been tipped with a departure from Anfield.
Asked about the fresh rumours over his future, former Man City forward admitted it was ‘hard to say’ where his future lies.
‘I don’t know what to say to that,’ Sancho told the August issue of World Soccer Magazine when asked about the transfer rumours.
‘It’s hard to say. That’s the future. You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see.’
Sancho also revealed that ex-Liverpool and England star John Barnes has been one of his football ‘idols’.
He added: ‘My dad was a big fan of John Barnes. He had a couple of videos of him at home and I used to watch them a lot.
‘I used to look at Ronaldinho on YouTube. That was a big thing for me. He used to try things that no-one else would try and that made me like him a lot.
‘I didn’t have a team that I supported, though. I just idolised a lot of great players.’
