Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly willing to hand Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes a deal worth £150,000 per week.
Since the early days of the January transfer window, the 20-times English champions have been in talks with Sporting Lisbon regarding a potential contract for the prolific midfielder.
While Sporting allegedly prefers a straight-cash fee, the Red Devils are open to including at least one player to reduce their financial outlay.
Regardless of the ongoing discussions, The Mirror reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have already decided on a lucrative contract for the midfielder, which will last until 2024.
The 25-year-old is keen to finalise a move to the 20-times English champions, leaving the two teams to reach some sort of a compromise in the coming days.
Sporting Lisbon may wish to keep Bruno Fernandes until after the showdown with Portuguese giants Benfica on Friday night.
Fernandes has been one of the most prolific midfielders in Europe for the last two years and would be a perfect partner for Paul Pogba Man Utd’s midfield area.
Portuguese playmaker has scored 32-goals and provided 18 assists in 53 appearences last season and this term he has managed to found back of the net 15-times in 25-games.
