Man Utd set to make summer move for versatile English midfielder

Manchester United have reportedly identified West Ham United defensive midfielder Declan Rice as a priority during the summer transfer window.

Newly-appointed head-coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be provided with a significant transfer budget for the next campaign and the North-West giants are believed to be keen on to strengthen their offensive end.

According to Independent Ireland, the Red Devils are prepared to pay big money to secure the services of the West Ham United prospect who has been one of the most talented player in England.

Meanwhile, Everton’s defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye has reportedly emerged as a shock transfer target for Man United ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old Everton star who was the subject of interest from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer, he has made over 100 appearances for the Merseyside Blues since a 2016 move from championship club Aston Villa.
