Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly still weighing up a summer move for Leicester City playmaker James Maddison when the transfer window will be re-opened.
Borussia Dortmund’s winger Jadon Sancho is believed to be the teams leading target ahead of the 2020-21 season, while it had been believed that Aston Villa’s ace Jack Grealish had moved past James Maddison to become the Red Devils priority when it comes to signing a new attacking-minded midfielder.
However, according to the Evening Standard, the Foxes playmaker is still being considered by the Red Devils.
Maddison, who has a deal at the King Power Stadium until the summer of 2023, has managed to found back of the net nine times and provided three assists in 35 games for Brendan Rodgers’s side this campaign..
The Foxes are believed to value the 23-year-old at £80m, though, which could prove problematic for the Red Devils in the current climate.
The Red Devils recently confirmed that they had agreed on a deal with Shanghai Shenhua to extend loan deal for Odion Ighalo’s stay at the club until at least the winter of 2021.
Leicester City another star Ben Chilwell has been also rumoured with a switch to Man Utd alongside with James Maddison.
