A trio of Premier League teams are reportedly battling it out to secure services of RB Leipzig talent spotter Paul Mitchell.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all on the lookout for a director of football, at RB Leipzig key man has been on top of their wishlist.
Sky Sports News reported that the Premier League trio may make a turn to Mitchell, who has previously spent his time as head of recruitment at Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the 37-year-old is believed to have been offered a lucrative new contract by German club that will keep him at the club until 2025.
Manchester-born Mitchell has spent the past couple of seasons with RB Leipzig and is believed to have been told that the manager’s job will be his at some point if he remains at the club.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Manchester United have both linked with signing another RB Leipzig key man Timo Werner who has been one of the best players in Bundesliga for the last two seasons in the German top-tier and recently has been rumoured with an exit from Red Bull Arena.
