Derby County have been rumoured with a move for Manchester United talented defender George Tanner.
The Red Devils left-back is currently on a season-long loan at Morecambe, however, could depart from Old Trafford this month.
Tanner is out of contract after the season ends and the Manchester Evening News calims that the Red Devils are willing to let him go on a permanent basis in the summer.
Tanner has played 27 games for League Two side Morecambe as he gets his first taste of first-team football.
Portsmouth, Salford City, , Championship outfits Blackburn Rovers and Derby, and MLS club New York Red Bulls are all believed to keeping tabs on Tanner.
He began his career as a striker, however, was converted into an attack-minded left-back back in 2016, although he is still capable of playing in a forward role.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have reportedly made contact with La Liga giants Barcelona regarding a potential move for Nelson Semedo.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been rumoured with a number of moves this months transfer window following an inconsistent start to the campaign, although it was reported that the Red Devils would mostly be pursuing midfielders and forwards.
However, reports in Spain indicate that the Red Devils are interested in the Portuguese right-back and that they have made some initial contacts with the Catalan club and his agent Jorge Mendes.
While the Red Devils spent £50m on new right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka earlier last summer, the reports claims that the Manchester club are hoping to convert Semedo into a right-winger.
