La Liga giants Real Madrid have reportedly revived their interest in securing the services of Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.
The Los Blancos increasing interest will be a worry for 20-times English champions, who have regularly expressed their admiration for former Man City forward, however, are unlikely to be as attractive an option if they miss out on Champions League spot this season as they continue to struggle.
The Spanish side were in the running to secure the services of the England international when it became clear that he would depart from Manchester City back in 2017, only for the German outfits to beat them to his services.
Now the Daily Mail claims that Zidane’s side are looking for another creative player to strengthen their attacking options and that Jadon Sancho is near the top of their list of targets.
The 19-year-old forward who has found back of the net four times and created a further seven in 14 appearences for Dortmund this campaign, is valued at £100m by Lucien Favre’s team.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen has held talks with Man Utd over a potential transfer during the January transfer window.
The Denmark international’s current deal with Tottenham Hotspur expires at the end of the current campaign, which means he could depart on a free transfer next summer.
However, Mauricio Pochettiono’s side could use this winter as their final chance to recoup a transfer fee for the 27-year-old playmaker.
The Los Blancos also registered their interest in securing the services of Christian Eriksen earlier this year, however, the former Ajax playmaker was not their first-choice target to strengthen their midfield.
